The Flames Can't Burn The sea can't sweep away the one whose life flows like water The flames can't burn the one whose body's made of fire The gale can't shake the one whose heart moves with the weather The Spirit draws us to it's heart's desire After the fire there is calm And after the flood there is rest And after the storm there is peace And all that remains is blessed Let the Spirit wash Let the Spirit burn Let the Spirit blow Because The sea can't sweep away the one whose life flows like water The flames can't burn the one whose body's made of fire The gale can't shake the one whose heart moves with the weather The Spirit draws us to it's heart's desire The Spirit draws us to it's heart's desire The Spirit draws us to it's heart's desire

The Rivers 04:02
The Rivers My soul has grown deep as the rivers My soul has grown deep as the rivers Experience reveals riches Oh, riches Deep in the midst of many battles Lost and won Burn away ignorance Burn away superstition With the fire of honesty And all that remains is Soul Wonderful Soul Immortal Soul Your Soul My soul has grown deep as the rivers My soul has grown deep as the rivers We feel the touch of the deepest heart Our longing heart We draw our breath from the deepest Soul The only Soul Call forth beauty Call forth confidence With the calm of mercy And we will see more Soul Wonderful Soul Immortal Soul Your Soul

Come and See 03:58
Come and See I looked up to heaven and I saw a great mansion It was lit up with light and it beckoned me in The walls and the windows seemed to fill all creation And the night sky above was as light as the day As I walked up the pathway I felt no fear or hardship For the love of our Lord was the light at the door The door opened gently and before me was the King With a laugh that shook the stars he began to sing Come see the riches of my home Come see the riches of my home Come and see the treasures, fascination without measure Come and see the riches of my home I saw laid out before me, in forests, hills, and seas The creatures of the world in no danger and at ease And in another chamber, a beauty I did find The children of the world, discovering God's mind And in every direction, every color and design Like kites that fill the sky, the thoughts of God divine This mansion full of riches, all priceless works of art And their wonder is not gold, but purity of heart Come see the riches of my home Come see the riches of my home Come and see the treasures, fascination without measure Come and see the riches of our home

Love Does Not Bargain The Lord opened a door before me, showing me His way I paused and asked if I might take that step another day The Lord responded with a silence, nothing more to say And then I knew His silence meant "obey" A day came when my happiness on earth was in decay My Lord said you must leave these things at once, without delay I looked over those things and asked, "Is there another way?" He shook His head and said to me "obey" Love does not bargain, or enter into deals But bares Her arm before us, and Her way reveals The sacrifice that God requires is a willing heart And though we know not where He leads, a willingness to start Men may imagine that there is another way To cast off these burdens which so heavy on us weigh But every other path leads to darkness and dismay The way to freedom is to obey In my heart of hearts I approach God when I pray Adoring His beauty and longing to repay But I have no money and there's nothing I can say The currency I have is to obey Love does not bargain, or enter into deals But bares Her arm before us, and Her way reveals The sacrifice that God requires is a willing heart And though we know not where He leads, a willingness to start Upon this blushing path we feel each footstep sing Our sin forgot and in its place a pair of newborn wings Our God's demands are more than laws carved in stone or wood His heart is that we be like Him, and He is only good.

The Well Is Full In the midst of a drought I can see the well Is filled with the water of God In the midst of dearth I can see the fields Are filled with the fruit of the Lord Through the mist of doubt I can see beyond The poverty and blindness of fear To the golden Earth, bringing forth her fruit In each and every season of the year The things that we need Are not in a far off land They are here Right at hand I lift my voice and sing My heart is pounding for the King He my every need supplies By opening my eyes In the midst of a drought I can see the well Is filled with the water of God In the midst of dearth I can see the fields Are filled with the fruit of the Lord

Mountain 04:48
Mountain Brothers and sisters, we are climbing a mountain We can't return to the homes we've left behind And when a fear comes to throw you down that mountain You must be merciless and cast it from your mind I once lived a life down in a sightless valley We knew no harm and of danger unconcerned We had our flocks and we tended our gardens Until the day when all our homes were burned Then we did weep and lamented our losses Then we did cry and trembled in our fear But came a time when our faces hardened And then our eyes turned away from our tears We found a road that leads out of this valley The way is steep and makes its harsh demands And so we turned ourselves away from old disaster And with great awe and wonder our ascent began Brothers and sisters, we are climbing a mountain We can't return to the homes we've left behind And when a fear comes to throw you down that mountain You must be merciless and cast it from your mind Now every step of the way is unfamiliar So as we climb we inquire and explore Our needs are great and our learning so little So with each move we pray the Lord for more The way is hard and the wind shrieks around us And we, like soldiers, marching as to war By my eyes are open like a child's Cuz I can see things I've never seen before And we are finding our way upon the mountain Countless miles we have traveled since the start And it's our prayers and our listening and longing That make us feel this mountain beating like a heart Brothers and sisters, we are climbing a mountain We can't return to the homes we've left behind And when a fear comes to throw you down that mountain You must be merciless and cast it from your mind Now as we walk we can hear the mountain singing She tells a story from far beneath the ground And when we hear it the wilderness around us Is filled with light at that ancient sound And now this mountain has become to us our joy We journey onward into her great unknown And with each step she is singing us her anthem We find our names written in her very stones

The Truth is the Truth The Truth is the truth, I don’t want anything else I've done my time with lies It is what it is and it has no apology For the mistakes it defies The Spirit declares it and any can hear it Who like a child will be And so I, listening, watch for the glistening Glory of God as it comes to me So many things we are told are the fact of the matter Pass by and are gone And still all the while, although it's reviled The Truth, with a smile, loves on Listen, you can hear the Earth longing Listen, you can hear the Earth aching To know the Truth Have an epiphany, break through the litany Claiming that life has no worth Open the door just a little, then more And the light will transform the whole earth Fear and confusion would lock up our lives But the Truth every day whispers glory So keep up your fight as you strive to do right Cuz there's only one side to this story The Truth is the truth, I don’t want anything else I've done my time with lies It is what it is and it has no apology For the mistakes it defies Listen, you can hear the Earth longing Listen, you can hear the Earth aching To know the Truth

Lazybones 02:27
Lazybones Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones, we got work to do The sun is shining on the right side of the road The sun is shining on the right side of the road You better jump up to your feet and get ready to go There's things outside your window you never seen There's things outside your window you never seen You're gonna miss 'em all if you lay in your bed and dream Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones, we got work to do Ma, Ma, Ma, just 5 more minutes Come on, Ma, Ma, Ma, I ain't doin' wrong, it ain't a sin It's just I need a little bit more time… To rest Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones, we got work to do You're a long way from home, and you been actin' a fool You're a long way from home, and you been actin' a fool You better get up, get dressed, get clean, and go to school Because you can't just spend your life thinkin' about yourself Oh no, you can't just spend your life thinkin' about yourself Why don't you take a little time and think about somebody else? Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones, we got work to do Ma, Ma, Ma, just 5 more minutes Come on, Ma, Ma, Ma, I need a little bit more time to rest Don't get uptight, don't get distressed I'll pay it all back with interest I promise… Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones Wake up little lazybones, we got work to do

Wait, Be Patient When I was a child I was told It's better to give than to receive But that was one message I wasn't ready to receive What could they do with me? They had to wait, be patient, and forgive me my sins Cuz I didn't know what kind of world I was living in I had me a friend, she gave me a gift I didn’t say thanks, in fact, I barely noticed What could she do, do you suppose, With a man whose eyes were so closed? She had to wait, be patient and forgive me my sins Cuz I didn’t know what kind of world I was living in So tell me, Why? How come? Did I act so dumb? And how could she be kind when I was so blind? But it was the best that I could do at the time I know a woman, she's fallin' apart I think a hammer fell and cracked her china heart And so I try to do what I know is good When for the hundredth time she doesn’t do what she said she would And so I wait, be patient and forgive her her sins Because I know how hard a trip its been I had a friend, she tried and tried She tried to make the most of all those tears she cried And so she let go of all the fear inside and said, I got to wait, be patient and forgive this world it's sins Because I know how hard a trip it's been Oh yeah, I know how hard a trip it's been And still we wonder, Why? How come? Do people act so dumb? And how can I be kind when they seem so blind? But I think it's the best that we can do at the time I think it's the best thing I can do at the time Oh yeah, it's the best thing we can do at the time

His Star Shined We were all blind Until his star shined Then, in our shock and surprise We were born again as we opened our eyes And we dropped everything And it fell to the floor But the mess didn’t matter Cuz we could see more That we ever had before We were all blind Until his star shined He did not wait But set out again into the darkness and hate We were newly born and our hearts were on fire For his beauty and greatness and holy desire To be pure To be pure To be pure We were all blind Until his star shined

Songs of Deliverance You are my hiding place And you will protect me Protect me from trouble And surround me, surround me, with songs… In the fire, you are there In the cold, you are there When I'm lost and I can't see You are there, with me And your voice, the holy ghost Tells me things I need the most And through all the things I do I'm alone with you You are my hiding place And you will protect me from trouble And surround me with songs of deliverance
